Day 32 (Thursday, July 13)

I had a good day at work today. But the photo worthy images did not happen until late at night.

After work I got home and cooked dinner. The past two days I was shooting photos from 8 a.m. when my shift started to about 11 p.m. when the train wreck and soccer games were all done. So, the fact that I was finally going to spend some down time at the house was good. I cooked a meal and watched television as I relaxed.

Minutes later, Diego invited me to go to his brother's house where his brother Jorge would be doing a live broadcast of his www.DoggLounge.com radio show. He wanted our support, so we headed out to hang out.

Jorge, or DJ Curious J as he is known, was spinning the house beats. It was a really good show.

Hanging out at Jorge's place was cool because there were a lot of cool people to hang out w/. Above you can see (from left) Adriana, Javier, Anna, Joe and Argentina. They are looking at Anna's photos from a night on the town a few days earlier. I love the photo because of the light source on the laptop hitting their faces. Everyone seems to be enjoying the images they are viewing. I like the red light coming off Jorge's room on the center left. Joe's shadow on the right looks cool. And the yellow light reflected on the lap top is from a candle on the table. The shadow of the blinds hitting the side of Argentina's face and shoulder and also on Anna's and Javier's arms makes nice light.

Minutes later two Polish girls came to the party. I can't remember their names for the life of me. I'm so bad. But maybe because I didn't talk to them since Diego, center, had them on the dance floor for a long time.

The above photo definitely gives you a feel to the place. Everyone hanging out and a cool dj in the background earning his dough.

Over all, I had a good time hanging out w/ some cool people. I can't really complain.
