Day 40 (Friday, July 21)
Yesterday I was running around all over the place doing different
kind of photos. I finished my shift by shooting the photos of
the guy eating chicken and the w/omyn smoking. I guess that
assignment still was too fresh on me when I went home that when
I headed to work this morning I still wanted to make images
for that assignment.
So, as I walked around downtown, I had my eyes open. I wanted
to make sure I gave my editor more photos to work w/. And so
as I walked down the street toward the office I heard the music
of a saxophone. I looked across the street and Ron Shelton was
going off w/ his instrument as people walked to work.

I crossed the street and talked to him for a little while.
I then started shooting a few photos because this definitely
made sense w/ the story I was working on. This story was dealing
w/ the different things the city is trying to crack down on.
Street music is one of those things.
The day continued w/ some trial coverage. The local police
department is being looked into because there are charges filed.
Some police officers, if I understand it correctly, have used
military phones to torture people. How? It's pretty graphic.
I won't get into that. Let's just say that the electric shocks
to males' bodies might make them hurt for quite a while. Ouch!

I finished the day and went home to meet up w/ Diego. This
weekend we are going camping and we needed to get all the supplies
ready for the trip.
We went and got caught up on some camping gear. Bought some
food and we're now ready to go.
