Day 47 (Friday, July 28)

Having a day off during the week feels really weird.
Today I was pretty productive, however. I got a few things
done.
The main thing that I did was work on my homework. I am taking
an online course at CSUN just so I can get some credit. So,
being that it's Friday, some of my homework was due today. So,
I cracked open my book and read for the majority of the day.
Then I worked on the study questions and got it all done. It
felt good.
I went into downtown because being away from the city on a
weekday felt weird. I walked around for a long time and got
to see some things I have been meaning to see for a while now.
I also took the Wendella water taxi from Michigan Avenue to
Madison Street. Being on the boat relaxed me and got me thinking
positively.
I stopped by the AP office to make sure I was all ready for
New York.
Then I headed home and read for the rest of the evening. I
jogged and I worked out, too. But that's it. I have been reading
pretty much all day. Today alone, I've read a third of my 200-page
book. Somehow I miss school, but I am trying to stay close to
it as possible. I love learning.
My homework consists on the idea of play through the eyes of
a leisure science course. It's a quarky class that allows me
to think about what's important -- playing. Perhaps I forgot
how to do that. But the book has brought up some key points.
So, soon I'll start p playing again. I am thinking of finding
an adult baseball league and seeing if I can join. I got my
glove. I'm ready to go. Perhaps an adult soccer league. Hmm.
We'll see. Maybe I should just keep it simple and pay more attention
to my best friend Cookie Monster. Somehow I am bound to play.
I need it for my interpersonal development as Levy and Moore
wrote on the chapters I read today.
