Day 55 (Saturday, August 5)

I had a great assignment today. The MLS All-Stars took on the English powerhouse Chelsea today at Toyota Park in Bridgeview.

I met a w/omyn who had the Chelsea symbol tattooed on her back. Off to the right she has John Terry's autograph that she got a day earlier. She said she will fly home to Washington D.C. and have it filled in by her tattoo artists tomorrow.

Now that's a hardcore fan!

I love shooting soccer. It's challenging and it's exciting. But most of all, it's fun.

Today I used a 500mm lens and some cool cameras and the quality shows as I got some nice action photos. I love using good equipment for important assignments.

It feels good to be frontline at so many important things in life. I know that newspapers in London were waiting for our images. So, I wonder how many of my photos actually made it onto newspapers and magazines?

It was a long day that paid off at the end. I got to the stadium about six hours before the start of the game and I left about two hours after. But it was all worth it because I do not consider this work. This is fun.
