Day 56 (Sunday, August 6)

I wish I could say I was productive today. All I did was sleep. I didn't wake up til 2 p.m.

The week drained a lot out of me.

Today was a pretty important day for me, though. My cousin Danny turned 27 today. Man, we're old!

I grew up playing soccer w/ my favorite cousin. He's a brother to me. It's great how we hold each other as a priority in life. I will do anything for him. And I know he would do that and more for me.

We had a long conversation today. I called him up since I had an unused international long-distance calling card. So, I was able to talk to my cousin, my grandma and my aunt Paty.

If there's anything my family in Mexico has is unity. Today they all got together to celebrate my hermano's b-day. Just like they do every year.

I wish I was there today celebrating w/ him, the way he did on my b-day in 2004.
