Day 76 (Saturday, August 26)
Going to bed at 6 a.m. after all that partying was insane.
It was all worth it, tho.
Today I hung out and relaxed as I got ready for tonight's festivities.
But first, I had to show Rebecca and Renee the town. We all
jumped into Diego's VW and headed to Chinatown to have dinner.
Then, the four of us headed to Navy Pier because, according
to tourist books, it's a must-see.

I don't know about that one. Personally, I have not been interested
in the place whatsoever. I don't know why. Too touristy? Perhaps.
Maybe is the fact that there is a big ferris wheel on it, something
I have no interest in ever experiencing.
While at the pier, we met up w/ other SPJ personalities. Katy
and Annie, two pretty ladies who I worked w/ on The Working
Press in Las Vegas, joined us. It was good hanging out w/ them
there. Especially when these two cute girls drew lots of attention
as they got extremely loud when seeing me and giving me a tight,
warm greeting hug.
However, our stay at Navy Pier was short-lived. That's because
I had my usual Saturday night activity at Xippo Lounge.
Rebecca showed she can interview just about anyone. Even a
statue.

"I don't date journalists," I told Diego earlier
tonight. But I think I might have to make an exception for Rebecca.
Just look at her. She's cute!

Katie and I had to get a similar photo like we did last year
in Vegas. Hmm. Maybe dating journalist might not be a good idea...
OK! What am I talking about? No way! I don't mix business w/
pleasure.

Katie and Annie had love for each other. Especially since Annie
was on the phone w/ Josh, another The Working Press alumnus.

Rebecca's silly! I like that.

And so is Renee.
After all the sillyness, it was time for XIPPO!!!!

Herschell was going off on the trumpet.
Xippo was going off the hook. This time it was better than
others. Brian and Brent from Minnesota were there. Neyno from
Milwaukee was, too. Herschel and Jocelyn from San Francisco
were also there. Many other out-of-towners were missing, including
Liz from Canada and Antje fromGermany. However, the group of
Djs, who are active members of www.dogglounge.com,
were there to spin some records. Herschel played his trumpet
along w/ the house beats. We were expecting Nataley to show
up and play the flute along w/ the trumpet, but unfortunately,
she was sick and couldn't make it. It would have added to the
already-amazing sounds.
Xippo Lounge was filled up. People were dancing and others
were mingling. It was good times had by an almost complete Chicago
family.

DJ Curious J spun records, Hersh blasted that trumpet. Nice
combo.

Doesn't it look like a piano. Rebecca is playing and Diego
is singing. Ha! It's just a table were they had an intimate
conversation.

Pretty girls and dancing. What else can I ask for?

"You shoot nice photos of all the other deejays, but you
never take cool photos of me," Curious J told me. Here
you go man... Happy?

Kelly was a little happy toward the end.

DJ Killa-B took time off mingling for a nice portrait.

And then Argentina had to get in the action w/ DJ Killa-B,
too.

DJ Neyno was going off the hook, as well.

Classy!

Argentina was getting a little tired. Oh oh! Weak!!!

Oh wait, I guess she was just mentally preparing herself to
get a piece of me. Nice!

Hersh got into his super heroe mentality.

The founding fathers. deejays Neyno, Curious J and Hersh.

DJ Neyno wanted to get a big piece of DJ O-Dogg and his pink
attire.
