Day 78 (Monday, August 28)

Today was a real slow day. Mostly because it rained all day. However, I wasn't going to let a wet day ruin my photographic experience.

After taking a tip from coworker Charlie, I headed downstairs and walked around downtown looking for rain features.

The photos were pretty cool, I thought. It showed how people in the Windy City live during a wet day.

After work I headed to Jorge's once again. Annita is leaving soon and we all want to hang out w/ her.

Herschel came over and showed us what he's learned at culinary school in San Francisco. He cooked a French meal for us.

In the process of serving the food, we joked around about the day when Hersh will be a famous cook. Of course, I want to make sure I say I met him when he was starting out, so I made some fun photos of him and his dish.

Meanwhile, Anna packed her stuff as she got ready for tomorrow's flight to Frankfurt, then to Berlin.

We sure going to miss her. I know I will.
