Day 5 (Mon., Sept. 5)

Today I woke up late. It's labor day and I am not working -- Ironic.

I did some shopping and bought me some eating essentials. I bought a fridge and a shelf for my books and DVDs.

Besides that, I spent the whole day trying to arrange my room. I wanted to have it all in order before going to work this week. That way I can come home to an organized setting and not worry about anything but relaxing.

Being that today was a holiday, I felt a little out of place. I don't have friends around here yet. My family is 3,000 miles away. So, it was a little quiet for me. I wish I could have done all the shopping and arranging early in the day. I kind of wanted to barbecue in that cool backyard to enjoy the holiday. Oh well, there be enough time to do so in the future.
