Day 40 (Mon., Oct. 10)

I was driving to work when I saw the doggie riding in the back of the motorcycle. It was too cool. Unfortunately, I couldn't get the doggie's name and or the owner's name. Too bad! It's a great photo, I think.

Being at work was fun today. It seems that every time there's a last-minute assignment it's signs that I am going to have a lot of fun.

How could I not? I jumped onto a rigid inflatable boat and went into the Atlantic Ocean. At a nautical mile (1.3 earth miles) was anchored an ice breaker ship that belonged to the Greenpeace. It was anchored there because it was denied to dock at Miami and Port Everglades ports. Sucks! The boat ride to the shit was amazing. Since I was the only person on the boat along w/ two members of the crew, we had some fun. Going top-speed while bouncing on top of the sea waves. It was cool, but I almost got sent overboard. That would have been funny. I guess I didn't care since they gave me a life jacket. I heard people pay big bucks to get to ride on boats like this. I get to do it for free while on the job. I love my job.

The people on board the ship were doing research on how oil drillings affect the environment. And it was ironic that Miami Port would not allow them to dock there since Miami is at a high risk for pollution.

It was fun being on the ship. I had never been on a ship like this, so it was cool. Too bad they only gave me a few minutes to look around. I was in awe as I walked on a real-life ship.

I finished my day by going to a local middle school. There I shot kids and tutors. It was fun. I like assignments that are hard to visualize. It test my wits and it makes me think about how to make boring things look exciting.
