Day 78 (Mon., Nov. 28)

I really thought that after spending so much time off last week I would be real busy today. It wasn't the case, it was a slow day at the office. It gave me a chance to work on the photos from the quinceañera. Here's the link to that photo essay. It came out really cool.

I wish I had a busier day, though. It wasn't very exciting and I sat in front of the computer for eight hours at the office.

After that I came home and watched television. I saw the United States president talk about immigration goals for the country. Not sure what to make of it. I believe the government is never going to fix the problem the way it wants to. Which is good for me because I am interested in pursuing topics w/ immigration issues. So, we'll see what comes out of it.

The funny thing about the speech is that government is thinking of having guest worker program. It means that people will be welcomed to come here and work for a few years and then they can go back to their home countries. OK, so let me get this straight...

Is the government saying that the United States actually does benefit from immigrants coming to work here? Hmmm. So why kick them out?
