Day 83 (Sat., Dec. 3)

I was at the club til 3:30 a.m. this morning. So, when I got home I went directly to bed and didn't wake up until mid day. It felt like a waste of a day.

But I was able to be productive, kind of.

First, I watched Texas beat Colorado 70-3 to crown itself as the Big 12 champ. Then I met up w/ intern Chris Young (UCLA/Berkley) at Hooters to watch the UCLA vs. USC game. It wasn't too much fun as USC had its way w/ the Bruins.

Then Chris and I met up w/ Alejandra (Florida International Univ.), who took us to the birthday party of one of her friends. It was cool hanging out at the party as there were people from all over the Latin countries there. I found myself explaining what a Chicano is to a couple of older people from Venezuela. They never understood what it meant until I gave them my explanation. At least after tonight they have a better idea.
