Day 12 (Sat., June 11)

No photos today. Sorry. That's because Stephanie is having a long week shooting photos for me coming up this week during the National Association of Hispanic Journalists National Convention in Fort Worth. I will be doing a one-week internship there as I will be taking a break (not really) off this internship journal and heading into my Fort Worth Internship journal. Either way, you still have a way of keeping track of me during this time.

Today was pretty much the calm before the storm. Tomorrow I head out to Fort Worth for the internship. I have my first meeting with my new colleagues in the evening.

Today was very weird for me. I drove really early towards the Dallas-Fort Worth area this morning. I headed there to see some of my friends that I made last year while doing the Dallas internship. However, I was pretty tired from partying up in Austin that I didn't get much time to see anyone.

I headed to the mall and was happy to see a mall as I had not seen that many people gathered in a place in the last week down in San Angelo. I was able to buy some shirts and my favorite cologne, which I had ran out of not too long ago. That's pretty much it. This San Angelo internship journal takes a one-week vacation, come back in eight days for your daily doze of Who? Leo!'s West Texas experience.
