Day 21 (Tue., June 28)

Man, I am not sure how messed up this working evenings is going to make me. This week I am doing the evening shift an I am getting used to waking up late and going to work. Today, I woke up at 9 a.m., but I headed back to bed since I didn't have to work til 1 p.m. I am working that shift for the next two weeks and I think I am going to get used to waking up late in the day. I hope not. That would not be fun once I go back to a 9 a.m. schedule. We'll see. I guess the internship will test my internal clock.

Today was fairly light. I hung out with Lindsay Steward (above) who is Miss Teen San Angelo and Miss Teen Abilene. She's on her way up this weekend to Fort Worth and next week she will be in the Miss Teen Texas pageant. She was really cool to work with. A very bright 15-year-old, who has been doing this type of things since age 2. It was cool to see her intelligence show as she had a mock interview with a few radio personalities and members of the community. If she has the confidence she had today during practice, she'll be fine.

I wish I could write more. But since I only been up for 10 hours and I worked for nine of those, there is not much to write about. I guess I better get to bed early tonight. Perhaps I can get up early tomorrow and be productive. We'll see.
