Day 22 (Weds., June 29)

I guess it doesn't matter what time I go to work, I am always going to wake up one hour before I must be a the office. Today, for the second day in a row, I woke up at noon. I rushed to the office and made it just in time for my 1 p.m. shift. I should really start going to sleep early so that I can make sure I wake up early and do something productive during the day.

So, today was a little like yesterday. Sad to say since I pride on my job not being the same on two days in a row. Well, the subject matter was the same. I followed the 15-year-old pageant hopeful to an event at a day care. She was supposed to sing to them, but she's got a rough throat and she had to take a rain check on the singing. It was cool nonetheless, as she talked to the kids about the importance of education, which is her platform. Later, when I was back in the office, my coworkers told me that I came out on the news as there was a story about the event on the local newscast. They said that I was looking around, I guess I must have been looking for an angle or composition. Well, at least they didn't catch me picking my nose or yawning. haha!

I went on my dinner break and came back to do a little bit of scavenger hunting. I had to drive around town looking for six churches and taking photos of them. Nothing too crazy as I was just making photos of the buildings. An easy assignment that took up the rest of my shift.

That was my work day. It's now late here and I am so energetic as I am not sleepy at all. I am contemplating a midnight run around the block. But then again, that might be a little to radical for a town like this. I don't want to get arrested for exceeding the midnight speed limit in this lonely night town. Haha. Well that's it. Tomorrow I do a little of traveling out to Brady, which is about 60 miles away. It should be fun. We'll see. Come back and I'll tell you what it was like.
