Day 35 (Tue., July 12)

I got home at 4 a.m. safe and sound. Happy to have lived the past weekend. Lucky to still be alive and write about it. It's not every day you get a chance to appreciate life to the fullest. This weekend I did.

It's hard to think what would it be like if things were worse in the accident. Luckily, it turned out well.

Today was a day to re-cap all of the events of the weekend. The way I felt. It's good to have taken the trip.

Five weeks down and five more weeks to go in the internship. It's about to get good. I can't wait to see what the second half of the season has to offer. It's kind of ironic how today is the start of my halfway point and today was the Major League Baseball All-Star game. The game is the halftime break of the season. It's time for good friends to get together and do what they do best. It's time to relax and get focused for the tough second half. I am full of energy and so excited for what's to come.
