Day 44 (Thrs., July 21)

Have you ever wondered how streets, towns, cities, states and countries got their names? Today as I remembered something I saw not too long ago. I saw an odd name for a street. No further comment needed when it comes to this photo.

Today I only worked for a very limited time. I have been working a lot over the course of the week and I was reminded by my editor to slow down a little. So, today I was given more time free than what I knew what to do w/.

As I sat here in my apartment, pondering at the idea that the summer is going by too fast, it came into my mind some of the things I will be missing about San Angelo. First, the people. Man, it's going to be hard to drive away from here. Everyone's so nice. On any given day, you will have someone wave hi at you for no reason, but to be friendly. On the road, you get the waves, too. Everyone is all-around friendly in this part of the state. I just wonder how I will be able to keep myself from waving at people in Los Angeles. Well, it won't be hard to get out of habit because I am sure the first person I wave at is going to give me the finger. That will teach me to know the rules of the place.

Cooking and watching some movies was cool. I really should have done more. It's always good to have a day when you do absolutely nothing. Tomorrow's my day off. I better be productive.
