Texas Journal -- Part II:
Standard-Times Internship

Day 51 (Thurs., July 28)

The above photo is really cool. My sister sent me the photo of her four children. They are sooooooooo cute! I like how the character of each of the kid is so apparent by just looking at the photo. Great shot Nancy. U rock!

Today was a pretty short day at work. I only needed to work about 4.5 hours to fulfill my 40-hour limit. I did, however, enjoyed the morning shooting a cool assignment. Things are getting a different feel around here. It's almost football season and everyone is getting hyped up for it.

That feeling is very alive at the office. Next week we will be working on our "football tour" and everyone seems to be getting hyped about that. From what I understand, each photographer is going to be assigned a group of schools to shoot throughout the week. We are responsible for every mug shot and team photo of all the varsity football teams in the area. Wow! That's going to be quite an experience. But I guess that's what happens when you are in West Texas and its amazing high school football life. We'll see how that turns out.

Today, a coach in the area was getting ready for next week's first day of practice. I shadowed him for most of the morning. Seeing how he does it and trying to shoot photos to show how intense he is getting in his preparations.
