Day 2 (Mon., May 31)


Road trips are awesome!!!! Well, that's the kind of feeling I had in the past. I am known to take spontaneous trips to Sacramento on a few hours notice. Also, I have been on a 12-hour road trip to Oregon State University. But, driving 1,510 miles during the course of 25-hours simply topped it off. The journey ended at 4 a.m. when I reached my destination -- the Seville Apartments in Dallas. Today, all I did was arrange my furniture, unpack my clothing and went grocery shopping. Then rest of the day I spent it sleeping and listening to music. I had to get my rest because tomorrow I need to be ready to go when I am expected at the Dallas Morning News/Al Dia office. This picture tells you all that was on my mind and most of what I did after only having three hours of sleep in 48 hours. Time to rest, and time to make Dallas mine!
