Day 3 (Tues., June 1)

Wow, what a day. As I ponder on today, the only thing that comes to mind is that Deep House song from back in high school "This is Los Angeles". Man, Deep House use to be the lifestyle. Go to school all week and finish it up by going to the club an dancing to the cool beats, including "This Is Los Angeles". Well, if anything showed me what "This is Dallas" was the thunder. The weather was horrible (of course to the locals, because I loved it. Perfect romance weather: the wind, the rain, the hail, the lightning, etc.). I knew it was going to be a very scenic day when the emergency broadcast system on the radio informed of possible 80 mile per hour winds, hail the size of golf and base balls. As soon as the storm hit, I picked up the equipment and drove around this new city and found a place to get a nice photo. But the day was not all romantic looking. The day started slow, with meeting a lot of the Al Dia Staff, which by the way were all very friendly and made me feel at home. Soon after the introductions were done, I was on my way to my first assignment. I was assigned to go to the local pool and shoot the kids in the swimming pool during the first week of summer break. It's great that I was sent out on this assignment because that's what I came here to do. So, getting to work right away was perfect. Here's what I came back to the office with:
