G-Lo in town. Today was basically (haha, as George Lopez says:
"the only sophisticated word Chicanos know") a slow
day. I was able to do a lot of chores around the house, cook
a nice meal and go out running. The Dallas area is filled with
a lot of green area with rivers running all over the city. I
ran about three miles. It was the biggest run in about two weeks
since I have been busy with school and packing. The scenery
was great as the track ran alongside the river. I finished the
evening by covering the George Lopez show at Nokia Live in Grand
Prairie, which is 10 miles east of Dallas. The show was great,
but as always: most of the stuff he talked about is already
on his CDs. However, this show had something different -- a
fan was able to slip by security and jumped onto the stage.
Lopez was able to go off the moment and improvised a very funny
episode regarding security. Particularly the security guard
that let the fan get away (see third pic).
