Day 16 (Mon., June 14)

Oh, so this is what is like to be lazy. Of the two weeks that I have been here, I had not spent a day doing nothing. I usually volunteer to work on a day off because I just love to work. However, for two weeks I had not taken a real day off and today was going to be just that. I woke up and went on my morning jog, worked out and then just hung out. I tried to go to the Dallas Museum of Art because it seems like a real fun place to go. However, the place is closed Mondays, so I wasn't able to go. Later in the day I bumped into a neighbor in the elevator. I forget his name, sorry. I have met way too many people in the past two weeks that trying to remember to remember each of their names has become a real sport. So, anyways. When this neighbor asked me where I was living, I told him on apartment #4107. He immediately said "oh you are the guy with the blue light, huh?" Oh oh, I have not met many people on my apartment complex, but I already have a nickname. I am not sure to be honored, or ashamed. Well, the reason he said I am the guy with the blue light is because I have a 48-inch black light and a blue neon clock in my living room (pictured above). The light filters through the blinds and you can see a blue glow on the whole window frame. So, that's how I got my nick name.
