Internship
Day 37 (Mon., July 5)
Sorry, no photo today. The camera needed some rest. After all
I put it through the last 36 days, including the past three,
it had to take a break. So did my body. When I woke up today
I had just enough energy to make my fifth-consecutive jog. I
am trying to run everyday during this month. I need to catch
up on some running. The last two months have included a lot
of hard work. Finishing up school, getting ready for the internship
and taking part of the first month of the internship kept me
real busy. So, knowing that I have been slacking off with my
running, I have made the decission to run everyday this month.
So far, I have kept with that regime. Other than that, today
was a lazy day. Did some laundry, went out to eat because I
didn't have the energy to cook. Walked around the mall for a
lil bit and came home to watch a movie. Yeah, nothing crazy.
I know. The one thing that I do have to say is that I know my
mom would have loved the restaurant where I went today. It was
a Tex-Mex style restaurant. But for the hour, or so that I was
there, all that came from the restaurant's speakers was music
by Jose Jose. He is my mom's favorite singer. He sings a lot
of romantic songs and people my mom's age like the way he sings.
The restaurant had many dishes titled "Mama's". I
had the "Mama's Tacos", so pretty much all I could
do is think about mom.
