Day 41 (Fri., July 9)

I love photography. I love it because it makes me daring. Today, when I was out working on an assignment, I figured I use my free time to go look for a nice feature. So, after driving for a while around Oak Cliff, I bumped into the scene where a two painters were working on top of a church. I figured it would be a good idea to take photos of them working. However, I was feeling a little daring. So, I asked one of the painters to take me up on his lift and show me the area where he was working. Now, this is not that exciting. But, to me it was. I was going to go on a lift that rises 60-feet up in the air. Let me remind you. I am afraid of heights. So, going up 60 feet is a big risk for me. It's funny, though. When it comes to shooting photography from places high-above, I have learn to overcome the fear. I guess having the camera around makes me feel stronger and I feel that nothing can go wrong.

After work I went to wash the truck. With all the rain, it has been hard to give the truck a good bath. Today I just got fed up of how ugly it looked with all the dirt. So, I went to a self-wash place and took care of it. When it comes to washing cars, I rather do it myself than pay $15 for someone to do a half-done job. So, I do it all myself. While washing the truck I noticed that someone had been messing with it. Someone took the TOYOTA emblem off the back of the truck and flip them upside down. Now, I know the person who did this was probably a kid who had nothing better to do. If it was a grown up, then I must say you have to get a hobby. Now, I don't really get mad about things like I used to in the past (I was known for having an extremely short fuse). But this pissed me off. I mean, you can take a guy's beer and drink it all, you can steal his girlfriend, you can cut in front of him on the freeway, you can insult him and call him names, but when you start messing with a man's truck, then you are just gone too far. I would really like to find out who did this. I figured I write something bad about the person who did this. But then I figured that person would probably be too busy messing people's cars and would not have the time to be reading this. Ok, so maybe the person who did this was just a kid and wanted to be "cool". I don't mind that. I used to be dumb and stupid at some point. I don't really mind that they switched the letters around. What did get me angry was that at some point, this person broke the letter A.
