Day 50 (Sun., July 18)

Today Colombians celebrated their independence and my camera was there to capture the moments. Today was hot. I wish there was much I can say about the event. But, let's recap the week...

I worked three late nights in arrow with concert on Wednesday, boxing on Thursday and concert on Friday. I also worked yesterday and today under hot near 100-degree weather and I don't recall much of it. With lack of sleep, and being under such warm climate, all I wanted to do was sleep. It's Sunday and I am drained. I am so tired that today I decided to take a break from cooking. So, I tried that thing I was holding back on: WHATABURGER.

Jill Painter, a sports writer for the Los Angeles Daily News and pretty much my best friend, told me that I had to try Whataburger as soon as I got into Texas. She worked out here for a few years before heading out to California, so she knows all about it. She told me Whataburger was a must. She said it was as good as In-N-Out from California. But, since I don't like fast food and I stay away from greasy burgers, I had not tried it yet. I almost tried it last weekend when I was on the trip to the river. That's because I saw more than 15 Whataburgers off the 35 Freeway on the way home. So I had it today. I have to say the food was pretty good! As good as In-N-Out. But now that I think about it: I miss California because of In-N-Out. Ok, if I have a nervous break down anytime soon. All you California people, please send me a Double-Double from In-N-Out. Ok, I'm delirious. Too much heat. I'm going to stop writing. It's hot and I am tired.
