Dallas, Texas Journal:
Al Dia Internship

Day 51 (Mon., July 19)

Today I drove around looking for features. It was hot, again. Somehow, I ended up in a real nice neighborhood. I ended up taking the photo above. I like that photo because it shows I am in Texas and the pride people have here for their state. It also shows a very nice house. I was shocked to know that the house runs for about 175,000. That's an amazing price. The area is beautiful and the homes are sooooo cheap. I can see myself staying here. I would love to stay here. Everything's so different that Los Angeles. Actually, today while talking to Photo Editor Bobby Sanchez, he mentioned that he would love to have me stay longer. The idea sounded great. I guess my hard work is showing because he said that. I totally wouldn't mind. In fact, I am so ready to stay if there was a way for me to do so. He mentioned he would love to extend the internship, and I have no objection. So, we'll see. I just want to do a good job and show the editors at Al Dia that I am ready for the real world. I love to work and why not do it for a company that is treating me so well and has such great people?
