Dallas, Texas Journal:
Al Dia Internship

Day 55 (Fri., July 23)

Guess what???? I was able to salvage the photos I lost last night. Wooohoooo. There's a program called "PhotoRescue" that totally saved my butt. The above photo is of Kalimba from last night. See, I told you the ladies were going crazy for him.

Anyways, today was my first of four days off after working my butt off for 10 straight days. However, because of my "ouchie" from last night, I figured I go to the office and work on my photos as I already had enough bad luck with this assignment. While there, I checked with the gurus at the Dallas Morning News regarding this thing called "PhotoRescue" that I once overheard shooters talk about. It worked wonders and brought my photos back from the dead. Woohooo. Today was real "laxed", as in relaxed. I got that term from Liz, I met her here on my first week in Dallas and I had not talked to her since then. We hung out last week and again last night after the concert. She's real cool, and very pretty if I might add. She's a real talented artist, a college graduate and is part of a group of young artist who run their own company -- how attractive is that?

So, yeah, it was very "laxed". I went to a party tonight. Al Dia sports writer Carlos Nava celebrated his birthdate today and a group of Al Dia staffers went to his house to join him in the fun. It's great hanging out with them. They are so cool and I have fun hanging out with them. I know I am definitely going to miss them when I am gone. But, just knowing that they are there to help me out in anything makes me real glad to know them.
