Day 58 (Mon., July 26)

Sorry, No photo today. I gave my camera the day off. Today was my fourth of four consecutive days off and the camera didn't really take a rest. So, today was the day for that. I just did some chores, including getting brakes done on my truck. Man, paying for brakes sucks, but it's something you have to get done. It's one of those things that save your life and keep you moving on an every day basis. However, you take for granted how much they cost and how much they save your life. However, I paid just over $300 for brakes. Man, that's half my rent! It's tough making such payment, but in the long run, you stay alive and that's worth more than anything.

I missed my truck today. It was at the shop for five hours. However, I was kept quite occupied hanging out with Liz and time flew by. Once I got my truck, I fed it a full tank of gas and a man approached me to ask me about the truck. He complimented me on how well kept I have it. So, the big payment I just made seemed worthwhile and I went home proud to have my truck. Tomorrow I go back to work and the fun time off is done. Woohoo. I am ready to work. Keep posted to see how all this pent up energy keeps me through the week.
