Al Dia Internship

Day 86 (Mon., Aug. 23)

Today was a day of relaxation. I did not pick up the camera at all. I went to check out the new Borders at the West End that just opened. It's a pretty cool place. I have the t-mobile hot spot internet wireless card on my lap top, so I was able to go chill at Borders and go on line and just hang out. I bought some music as I ended up browsing the Borders music listings for longer than I should have. Later, I went to the office to get the keys to my new apartment. Since I was only going to be in Texas for three months, I only signed a three-month lease on my apartment and that ends next week. I had to get a new apartment and I decided to take up the offer by Julian, one of my coworkers at Al Dia who is renting a room in his apartment. I went to check it out and it's not a bad deal. It's right where all the cool stores are, so I don't have to drive far to get there. For example, across the street there is a Starbucks, Borders and Kinko's -- all which offer the t-mobile hot spot internet connection, and that makes me very happy. Tonight, I went to check out the movie Nicotina, it's a Mexican movie that features good Mexican actors. That was a good movie, I strongly recommend it.
