Day 94 (Tue., Aug. 31)

Today's assignment was to shoot Ana Cristina Reymundo. You
remember her from Day 46, when I shot
her at her home. Today she was at Barnes & Noble signing
copies of the book. That is my last assignment as official intern.
Tomorrow, I wander into the life of freelancing. This is a sad
moment in Dallas, Texas Journal history. It's over. I sit here
writing the final words of the internship and I can't help but
feel a little bit sad. Just a little, but I do. It seems as
if it was only yesterday that I got on the truck and drove 1,500
miles to get across four states to get to this internship. It
seems as though it was just an hour ago that I shot my first
assignment and I was taught the value of making my first "ordinary"
photo of the internship. I learned a lot of things this summer.
I learned the value of life, the value of work, the value of
friendship, the value of everything. So, with the end of the
internship at my hands, I'd like to remember some of the things
that made this summer one of a lifetime. I will give you my
top 11 -- yeah, not top 10. that's because I want to give you
something extra. I'm that type of guy: giving -- reasons and/or
stories that made this a great experience.

And with that, my friends, this internship journal
has come to an end. I hope that the insight into my mind and
feelings gave you a better perspective on what it was like during
the past three months in Dallas, Texas. As you all (y'all) know,
I will be doing freelancing in Texas for the rest of the year.
I guess I owe you the stories and photos of the return home.
Keep posted for that and come back later this year to see what
I got myself into while making the journey back to Califas.
Thank you so much for staying tuned and reading all the stuff
I had to say about Texas and my experiences here. I hope you
really enjoyed yourself and make sure to keep posted for the
next internship adventure. Gracias
