Day 5 (Thursday, June 15)
Today I didn't shoot as many photographs as I did yesterday,
but it still required a long day to do all the work.
I worked on two small multi-media packages revolving around
the job fair. I went with Javier (Hunter College) and Nadia
(Puerto Rico) to the job fair and came up with two pretty cool
stories.

The first one was on Adam Maya.

The second one was on Kelsey Wells-Lazo.

After a long day of work I went and enjoyed myself with the
rest of the students and NAHJ members at the Casino Night at
the Seminole Hard Rock Casino. There was a lot of dancing and
a lot of mingling with the professionals as well as the students.

It feels great to be among so many positive individuals. I
look at the way the professionals act toward each other. They
are all friends. They look out for each other. Some how I think
that someday when I become the professional that I want to be,
I'll have all my friends from the student projects being my
friends in the professional life.

And of course those professionals that have taken the time to
help us out. I can't wait to be one of them. So far, it has been
good. Tonight I bumped into Angel Valentin again. He's such a
cool person and we had to take a photo. He titled this photo "Los
Malos" ("The Bad Guys"). Good times.
