Day 2 (Mon., June 13)
I guess shooting lightning storms during internships in North
Texas is becoming a habit. Today I closed out the day by shooting
yet another display of light. This all happened during my drive
home after spending some time with my favorite Dallas people.
Anyways, here's the photo I am talking about.

I got so excited when I shot the photo that I was jumping up
and down. I was the only one on the street since I was shooting
it at 1:30 a.m. I was there jumping and screaming as I got a
chance to see the photo seconds after it was snapped.

Today felt kind of slow. It was too slow as everyone ran around
trying to get their stuff ready for the week. We started the
day in a meeting where I got a chance to see everyone who will
be working in the English, Spanish and Web site.
I can tell that I am going to have a lot of fun. Everyone who
stood up and said something about themselves seemed to be very
smart. I was intrigued by what everyone had to say. I am not
sure what the week's going to be like around these kids, but
I do know that I will come away w/ some good friends. I got
the week started just right by shooting tonight's lightning.
If that's any indication of how good the week is going to go,
then I am definitely excited.
