Day 5 (Weds., Oct. 19)

Ahhh! Another SPJ internship done w/. It was fun hanging out
w/ the 11 other interns and the two advisers. This morning I
felt bad because I will no longer be able to participate in
this internship. It's a good thing, since I will be moving on
to bigger things. But still, I love doing this. It's great meeting
so much young talent. Good luck to y'all.

Paul acted funny as he found a pair of women shoes. It was
nice to see him have some fun. He's so devoted to the program
that he was serious the past few days. Then again, he was sick,
too. So, I guess he was feeling well by now.

Yeah he was. Look at him, messing w/ Katy's luggage.

Josh showed the great propaganda you can find on The Strip's
ground. Ads for the "fun girls".

Ligers! Woohoo!!!

Josh had something cool to say, but I was busy shooting photos
and Katy was busy looking at the Luxor's pyramid. Poor Josh.

I hung out most of the early evening w/ Katy and Josh since
everyone else had early flights out of Las Vegas. The three
of us walked all the way up and down the strip and got to see
some cool stuff. It was fun. I'm gonna miss you guys.
After a long walk w/ them, I went and checked into my hotel
at the Stratosphere. From there I went to a bar and watched
the Astros beat the Cardinals to advance to the World Series.
Cool!
Here are some of the pages of The Working Press that featured
my photos.

Judith Miller front page.

You remember Renee, right?
There are more, but those are the ones that stand out. :)
Ok, now I'm done.
I am spending a few extra days in Vegas to enjoy a mini vacation.
It should all be fun times. The internship was good. I was able
to stay away from the gambling tables. And I worked hard. It's
time for some other kind of fun. Thanks SPJ!
