*** 9/15 -- Flying back to Dallas. Check out the New York City Journal, to see what I got myself into while in the Big Apple.

*** 9/7 -- Flying to East Coast for Society of Professional Journalists internship.

*** 9/6 -- Summer Internship Portfolio now on web site

*** 9/2 -- Soon to make a comeback. After a three month break, the latest photography section is warming up for its return.

*** 9/1 -- Freelancing starts today. Wish me luck!

*** 8/31 -- The internship is history. Today, it ends and the experiences are all recorded in the Dallas, Texas Journal.

*** 8/16 -- Everything on the web site is now updated. The News section, Pic of the Week, Latest Photography and the journal are all up to date.

*** 8/16 -- Haven't done much on the web site besides the journal. Today the Part II of the journal starts. My internship was extended, and the journal continues.

*** 7/1 -- AZTLAN GRADUATION photography is now available for viewing. Pick the photos of your friends and family members and submit your order form soon. Don't let this special moment in your life go undocumented.

*** 7/1 -- My birth-date month has begun. I get 31 birthdays, so keep those birthday month gifts coming!!! hehe. It's great to be named after a month. You have so many birth dates.

*** 6/30 -- After a long vacation, the Friend Photographers section is finally updated. Go see who is this month's featured photographer.

*** 6/16 -- I'm going to NEW YORK! That's right. My application for the Society of Professional Journalists internship this fall has been accepted. I will be the staff photographer for The Working Press, the SPJ National Convention's newspaper. So, this September, I am going to be in New York! wooooo hooooo!!!!!!!

*** 6/13 -- Happy Father's Day dad!

*** 6/5 -- The Dallas, Texas Journal has finally published. Please visit that section to see what I have been up to.

*** 6/5 -- Sorry about that!!!! I have been busy with finals, packing, the road trip to Dallas and settling in Dallas, that I haven't had the chance to work on the web site. I appologize. Today, that changes! Please see new material.

*** 5/21 -- Nancy Cortez, my sister, just had twins. Say hello to my little friends: Rebecca and Nestor Xavier.

*** 5/18 -- I was just notified that I was selected as the Al Dia Newspaper's summer photography intern. I will spend three months in Dallas, Texas, working and learning about the culture, the people and the life.

*** 5/14 -- The latest attempt by La Raza to promote its existence hit the big screen with the premier of A Day Without A Mexican in selected theathers in California. A movie by Sergio Arau, the director of Like Water For Chocolate

*** 5/10 -- Just put up photos from a spontaneous, last-minute trip to the Sate Capitol.

*** 5/10 -- Today's Mother's Day in Mexico. Happy Mama's Day!

*** 5/2 -- Saturday May 1st, I taught aworkshop regarding the media at the MEChA State Conference at UCLA.

*** 5/2 -- First edition of new feature "Friend Photographers" added to the site.
